Cars for Sale in Fresno, California
Not to be outdone by its more famous neighbors (San Francisco and Los Angeles), Fresno has carved out its own niche in California. The ash leaf featured on the city's flag is a reference to the Spanish translation of Fresno, "ash tree."
As one of the lone metropolis cities in the San Joaquin Valley, Fresno stands out among the surrounding rural towns. Unlike many of these surrounding cities, Fresno's largest employers are a series of medical groups. Its location is almost ideally situated between Yosemite National Park, Sierra National Forest, Sequoia National Park, and Kings Canyon National Park.
In 1958, Bank of America launched the first successful credit card (which would later become Visa, Inc.) in Fresno. The city also boasts an ethnically diverse population, with almost as large a percentage of Hispanic residents as white residents.
